**Please Note this is a natural product, so finish may vary on each mat. The engraving process is a burning process. They are not stamped, inked, or printed on. The design is burned into the coir fibres so due to the irregularity of the hand made mat there are areas they will be darker than others - this dosnt take away from the look.
Although crisp and clear, the darkened fibers will fade over time. We highly recommend using the laser engraved mats in a well covered area, away from elements such as sun and rain as much as possible. They will last much longer this way.
